Construction scaffold towers

Tower scaffolds are widely used in construction and repair work, as well as for installing outdoor advertising and providing cleaning services. They enable work at heights significantly above human reach. Tower scaffolds are extensively used in buildings with high ceilings: sports halls, shopping centers, airports, train stations, markets, and entertainment complexes.

A tower scaffold is a spatial tower-type structure made of flat stair sections, each having three steps.

The construction of the tower scaffold is equipped with four wheels and screw jacks, which are used for moving the scaffold and are equipped with brakes to fix it in place during work. The screw jacks compensate for uneven ground surfaces.

A tower scaffold consists of a base kit and extension sections (story set).

The base kit includes: assembled base with wheels and galvanized screw jacks – 2 pcs spatial diagonal brace – 1 pc ladder-rails – 2 pcs cross braces – 2 pcs handrails – 2 pcs beams – 8 pcs deck frame with plywood and hatch – 1 pc deck frame with plywood without hatch – * (depending on scaffold type) The extension section (story set) includes: stair sections – 2 pcs cross braces – 2 pcs beams – 8 pcs Additionally, for stability, 4 stabilizers are installed.

For increased rigidity, a spatial diagonal brace is installed every 3 sections.

Load-bearing elements are made from pipes according to GOST 10704-91, GOST 8645-68, steel grade St3ps GOST 380-2005 (DSTU 2651:2005).
